Having had the pleasure of staying at Familienhotel Steindl, I must say that the experience was a delightful balance of luxury and value. the culinary offerings were a definite highlight, with perfect and very tasteful cuisine for half board, including a rich breakfast albeit slightly monotonous. the option to choose from two menu choices was a nice touch. the owners, a friendly and amusing couple, made us feel incredibly welcome, going above and beyond by providing complimentary transportation to and from Millstatt, ensuring a hassle-free experience. the hotel's dog-friendly policy was much appreciated, ensuring our furry companion felt right at home. the rooms were modern and of appropriate quality, complemented by a nice stainless steel pool in the adjacent building, offering a relaxing retreat. For those seeking a blend of comfort, good food, and personalized service, Familienhotel Steindl is a wise choice for your Austrian getaway. Would gladly return.
